This genuine Victorian lizard brooch is adorned with sparkling old cut Paste Stones all round. Circa 1890
The lizards body is decorated with beautiful Green and White Paste stones, with red Paste eyes.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones.
They sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating the allure of natures beauty.
A stripe of green Paste stones run down the lizards back, they are very intense just like natural Emeralds.
All set in Silver with original pin and C catch.
Purchased in London and steeped in English history.
