Vibrantly colored gemstones in a geometric mosaic design, makes up this vintage pair of Zuni crafted button style earrings, set in sterling silver, circa 1990s.

The high domed Southwestern earrings are round in shape with a sterling silver base, and bezel set with a mosaic inlay of orange striated spondylus a.k.a. spiny oyster shell, sky blue turquoise, navy colored lapis lazuli, and black onyx, along with slender bands of sterling silver to enhance the geometric design.

They measure just under 7/8 of an inch round, have clipbacks, weigh 7.7 grams combined, and are stamped “Sterling”.
